French Military Kills 40+ Terrorists on Motorcycles in Africa

The French military has announced that their forces assigned to “Operation Barkhane” killed roughly 40+ terrorists on the border of Burkina Faso & Niger. 

According to the French military, government officials in Niger requested their assistance after soldiers were attacked by terrorists operating on motorcycles. The terrorists reportedly beheaded multiple soldiers following their initial attack. 

French forces deployed to Operation Barkhane in the Sahel

After receiving the request, french forces immediately deployed a drone and identified approximately 40 motorcycles moving in a “motorcade” near the border of Burkina Faso.

As the terrorists crossed the border, a drone attacked the group injuring approximately 12. Moments later, french warplanes moved in resulting in “30 terrorists being neutralized.” 

This strike comes after 100 civilians (including children) were killed in a village over the weekend in Burkina Faso.
